Managed Services

Diagnostic Healthcare’s managed service removes the risk from the Trust by guaranteeing that all sessions will be covered by qualified and competent staff. This enables the Trust to plan a stable rota around its own staffing levels and capacity. The service can be delivered insourced on hospital estates or outsourced in community settings.

Diagnostic Healthcare employs regional core teams of clinical staff, familiar with the procedures and rules of the local hospital. This applies to both our staffing only model and our staffed mobile service model. A managed service removes the risk that arises from using locums and ensures that the Trust has continuity of service. This includes a professional and dedicated team of clinical staff, assessed and recruited according to NHS employment checks standards in accordance with our rigorous recruitment policy. Our staff all participate in Continuing Professional Development activities to ensure their knowledge, skills and experience remain up-to-date.

The core team will be familiar with the Trust’s policies and procedures, providing us with the flexibility to increase demand when required. Depending on the service specification, equipment and clinical audit can be undertaken by Diagnostic Healthcare. This can be used by the Trust towards its own audit provision.
