Who is eligible for an MRI Scan?

MRI Scans cannot be performed in the following circumstances:

• 
  If you have an implanted pacemaker, defibrillator or simulator.
• 
  If you have an electronic/electric implant in the body, which cannot be removed.
• 
  If you are in the first trimester of pregnancy.
• 
  If you have metal fragments dispersed in different areas of your body (depending on the type of examination).
