How do I make an appointment?

Can I book a blood test  myself?

Yes – anyone who would like to have a blood test  can have it performed privately.
Alternatively, your GP could refer you for a blood test on the NHS, if appropriate.
To refer yourself privately or on the NHS you can make an appointment,
by calling Diagnostic Healthcare on 0161 929 5679.
You can choose from a wide range of convenient appointment times, including weekends and evenings from our Manchester or Birmingham offices

Please note that if your GP or consultant has referred you, we will require the completion of  a referral form online.

You will normally be offered an appointment within 5 days of the receipt of a referral. The results and a report including, a treatment recommendation, are sent to the original referrer within a maximum of two days of the test being completed.

Alternatively if you have made a self-referral we will send the results to your home address. You will then need to make an appointment with your GP for the results to be explained to you.
