Am I at Risk?

Whether you are at risk or suffering from a major disease depends on a range of factors including:

  • your age
  • your lifestyle
  • and your medical history

Anyone over the age of 18 can have a Health Screening (Health MOT).
The Health Screening will give you information that will allow you to understand your own health risk and will enable you to take responsibility for your own health. In addition, it will provide clinical information to enable your doctor to begin any treatment that is required.

How can major diseases be detected?

During the Health Screening each organ will be screened to detect even the smallest symptom that could be an indication of a major disease.
Once the tests are completed, if treatment is required your GP can arrange a referral to a specialist. The results of the tests will serve as a personal medical record for future reference.

Can major diseases be prevented?

Yes – early diagnosis of key risk factors is crucial for improved prevention of serious illness.
Our Health Screening (Health MOT) aims to diagnose existing conditions and it also enables us to evaluate key risk factors and develop a personal prevention plan specifically tailored to your lifestyle.
